Chapter
1 : Introduction
Hey!
Finally got round to keeping a journal.
We thought it would be a good idea to keep you guys
informed of what's been happening in the Little
Buddha Camp.
This
afternoon, Fugue and Grant did some work on 4 new
tracks. Some of you will hear these new songs
at King Tut's on July 23rd . We want
to get some new material in the set. The
best of the new material will feature on our second
EP, which will hopefully be released in September.
Although retaining our cinematic trip-rock
signature, the songs from the next EP will reveal
a different side to us. If the ‘Beautiful
EP' is the ‘yin' then the next series of songs will
be the ‘yang' –darker, heavier and more turbulent
– a contrast and complement to the lighter, beautiful
and tempered side of Little Buddha.
We want to strike a balance – restore the equilibrium.
We
are excited about our new songs. Personally,
I feel the lyrics are some of the best I have written.
