Chapter 3 : Studio 1 : Guide Vocals

As you know, we have been working on the 2 nd EP.

Tonight, I laid down guide vocals for 2 new songs –

“Turn Around” and “Another Day”…   Now the hard work begins…

But it's a labour of love…

Hopefully we will have demo versions available online for you guys to check out.    These will – so long as there's no more damage to the body parts of the players – around August.

If you come to King Tuts on the 23rd you may hear one or two of them…

Until then, Little Buddha buddies…

Love & Peace

Chapter 4 : Last night's gig at King Tut's Wah Wah Hut

Hey! Hey! Hey!!!

Last night we played at the infamous ‘King Tut's Wah Wah Hut' – on that legendary stage!    What a rush of blood to the head that was!!!

We all arrived at different times, but had to be there by 6pm for sound checks.

Our set got off effortlessly…   The crowd seemed a bit ‘unsure' to begin with and kept their distance – however by the 3rd or 4th song, the room began to fill up and bodies began to sway, or nod their heads to the music – really getting into our groove – which was nice.

Compared to crowds in London, I have found Scottish crowds to be more of slow burners... but hey - once they get started, there's no stopping them!

Our new songs went down a storm.

I would like to thank the guy who came up to me at the end of the night and paid me a compliment.    He said that I had the same charisma and enigmatic quality as Jim Morrison.    He said I was like a female Jim Morrison.   Thank you for that.    (I think…)   ;-)

Polysics were cool to hang out with…   crazy, crazy people!    On the surface, they appeared to be stereotypical Japanese people – extremely polite and quite reserved.    On stage however, they were WICKED!!!   Their set raced at 300 knots from beginning to end.     Many thanks to Humi, Hiro, Yano and Kayo.    You ROCK!igato!

Thank you to everyone who came to hear us on Friday night – you ROCK!!!

And a big thank you to King Tut's for having us!

Love ‘n' Peace,

Kat x
